This is the finished painting...I am not sure really what I will name this painting, but "Big Kitten" seems to work.

This is a painting that I completed based on the Bison at NW Trek. The scenery is definitely Wyoming, however. Both bison are females, but the baby...who knows?

At A Glance - A Miniature Painting

Currently I am getting ready for the Miniature Show at Gallery North. I am working on a set of miniature or small paintings with wolves as the subjects. Each wolf has his or her own personality and an incredibly intense stare. So much about the wolf centers on observation and sizing up the situation at a glance. Patience is tempered with reality when the wolf must decide to go forward or retreat.

Hope you enjoy the paintings. I will be posting each one here. They will be on display at Gallery North during the month of March. The artists reception for the show will be March 7th at 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
